Drugstore mascara that will change your life

I tend to stick to the same ol’ same ol’ when it comes to makeup.  I mean, my idea of branching out is adding eyeliner when I’m hittin’ the town.  {Sad, I know.  But true.}  I also don’t like to spend a lot of money on makeup… I’m all about the CVS extrabucks.  Even though I don’t like to wear tons of makeup, I do like a good mascara that will brighten up my eyes.  Mascara just makes me feel put together even when I’m not.

The secret?  To pair Maybelline the Falsies Volum’ Express and Wet n Wild MegaLength together… because then you’re getting fullness and length.  I’ve tried layering these two both ways, but the winner for me has been the Falsies first with the MegaLength on top.  The ultimate test came when I took a nap and it still looked good.  Zero flakeage, an affordable price, killer length and volume?  I’m in!

    Perfect!! I think it’s crazy to spend 30 on those volume mascaras when we can get them for under 10, heck sometimes free with our extra bucks!! I use the M great lash but been wanting that one and I have $6 in extra bucks so good to go. Lol. Have a GREAT day!!

    • Love me some extrabucks! And yes, I’m so against ridiculously overpriced makeup because then I might fall in love with it and have to spend that much every time!

    I’ve never thought to use two different mascaras! Such a great idea! And I’ve heard so many great things about the Falsies mascara too!

    • I started doing it because there were things I liked about both of them but I figured if I put them together it would be magical!

    I don’t see the point in spending megabucks on products either, and you can’t go wrong with Maybelline! I love their Define a Lash and Full n Soft.

  • I do layer as well, but when I am running late. I stick to Volumizing one!
    I like the Maybelline Falsies too.

    • I’ve used some Mary Kay products but never their mascara. I’ve always been able to find some cheap stuff that works for me.
