How to wear a scarf in the Spring

Can I get a little what what for these warmer temperatures we’ve been having?  But there are some pieces of winter wear that I’m just not ready to give up.  First up: scarves.  In order to avoid that warm look, here’s some ways to transition your scarf collection to the new season!

1. Select bright a bright colored scarf.  It can be patterned or solid but it needs to have some color to it!
2.  The scarf should be a light-weight fabric.  Stay away from wools and other sweater-like material.
3.  Pair the scarf with something light and colorful.  Go with whites or brights.
4.  Stay away from other winter accessories.  Trade boots for flats {or sandals!}; skip the gloves; swap the pea coats for lightweight jackets.

  • The pattern and colors on your scarf are so pretty!!! I love wearing scarves in the spring, mostly because it’s still pretty chilly here! I love how you looped it too…need to try that! xo, Biana – BlovedBoston

    • Thanks! I’m not really good at incorporating color {I’m such a neutral fan} but scarves always seem to be a good way to do that.

  • That scarf is really cute! I’ve never mastered the scarf look…

    • You could totally do it, girlfriend!

  • Tea

Love it! My scarves get worn pretty much year round – but there are definitely spring/summer scarves and definite fall/winter ones! I’m probably doing a How2Wear scarves post soon too! Great minds think alike!
