Bump style pinspiration

I’ve relied on Pinterest to help me sport this growing baby bump.  Here are a few styles I’m crushing on.

– The knotted look –

This is one look I haven’t tried yet.  I think it’s a great way to be able to wear what’s still in your closet but highlight the way your body has changed.  Now I just need to go see if I have anything in my closet that will work for this look!

– Layers + stripes –

I was ecstatic when I realized I could still wear stripes throughout pregnancy.  Stripes are my go-to, especially when layering.  All of these layered pieces are looks I would attempt to recreate – even when I’m not pregnant.  Plus, they’re so realistic for things I’ll actually wear to work, too!  The bonus?  I’ve already found a few striped tees at on clearance at Target and I’ve been wearing them.

– The graphic tee –

You know I’m a huge fan of the graphic tee but I haven’t found any I like yet.  There was one at Motherhood Maternity that even said Good Luck Charm but I didn’t like the way it fit so it stayed at the store.

– Dresses –

Seriously, these are so chic.  I’m hoping to be able to wear dresses layered with jackets and boots when it gets cold.  Or sneakers.  Even though I love my grey dress, I haven’t worn dresses as much as I thought I would.  Just wait to school starts back… I think it’ll pick up then.

  • Great inspo! Maternity wear isn’t always the most fashionable, so I feel like sometimes you have to get creative. Looks like you are doing a great job. I love blogs for this reason! Always some great pins to find. :)

I love how chic maternity wear has gotten! You do it pretty well lady, everything Ive seen you in has been adorable so far! I think you’d look great in any of these outfits and I can totally seeing you sporting some of these in the classroom coming up here soon! :-) is it Pinterest just the best invention ever! I wish I’d had it for inspiration when my belly was sporting bumps 😉

  • Biana Perez

I feel like you can wrong any of these especially the maxi dress! You’ve definitely made me realize how chic maternity clothes can be and I think the trick is to stick to regular sizes and just size up where you can – obviously not with jeans lol! xo, Biana –BlovedBoston

    • There’s definitely ways you can still look good. The crazy thing is that what worked last week might not work this week! I find that it’s constantly changing.

  • I loved showing off my bump when it was a cute basketball! Of course the bigger it got the more I was like, throw me a tent! You can rock any look you’re so tiny even with that cute baby bump! xo Amanda

    • I’m only tiny now because i have over 3 months left. I swear sometimes I’m bigger in the evening than I was that morning though. It’s crazy!

  • These are all great options! I think the knotted look is my favorite of the bunch :)

  • So many amazing looks, especially loving the stripes and the graphic tees :)

  • I love that knotted black tee and pink skirt. I think the look I rocked the most was the cardigan with the striped shirts and belt and then the dresses when I got to the last trimester.

    • I’ll be wearing lots of striped tees and cardigans this fall – which isn’t all that different from what I normally wear! The knotted look is a fun look to throw in the mix.

  • Love all of these looks so much. I always enjoyed dressing my bumps. It’s so fun!

  • All of these are so cute! I was lucky if I even put on real pants towards the end of my pregnancy. LOL
