Two ways to wear | a summer dress

Don’t fall out of your chair, ok?  Is February 11 really the last time I did a two ways to wear?  Holy slacking.  Back in the days when I actually blogged on a regular basis, I was constantly thinking about what my two ways to wear post could be for that week.  Aaaaand then I got pregnant and never felt like getting off the sofa taking pictures.

I can’t use that excuse anymore because I’ve been feeling really good for a while now.  But it my defense, it’s summer.  Which means traveling and never fixing my hair and you just don’t want to see that.

I really have missed blogging regularly so I’m getting back into the swing of it.  You’d think it would be easier for me to blog in the summer since I have so much more down time but it’s actually proved to be more difficult.  When I have a set work schedule, I have to make time to blog.  Now that I have some time off from work, I’m trying to get things checked off my summer bucket list and I’ve gotten a lot done but my schedule isn’t as rigid.  I’m not in a routine.  Speaking of blogging on the reg, I wrote a late post yesterday about what life will be like in five years.

Enough chit chat; on to today’s look.  This dress is one of my favorites for obvious reasons although I’m not sure how much longer I can stay out of maternity clothes. I usually wear it dressed down but it’s a great dressed up look for church or a date night.

  • OMG look at that cute baby bump! I do enjoy your “two ways to wear” series and I’m ultra interested to see how you work that with a maternity wardrobe (as I’m sure many others are, also) since nobody wants to spend a million dollars on a bunch of maternity pieces! Glad you’re feeling better lately, friend!

  • I love both ways but where is that gold crossbody from – I love it!! xo, biana –BlovedBoston

  • Super cute outfit and love the baby bump!

    Hello Claire, congrats on your pregnancy – I missed the announcement. This ruched t-shirt dress is so flattering on a baby bump. I too love both styles and those leopard sneakers are too cute. Do you know the baby’s gender yet?

    Ada. =)

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE this!!!! You are absolutely STUNNING in the “comfy” version! Does TWTW count if I hypothetically purchased the same dress in 3 options (mega sale – $30 all in!)? I mean I style them all differently and wear different shoes?!?!?! :)

  • Love the dress and two ways you styled it! That pink bracelet is super pretty too. Your baby bump is so cute!! :)

  • I love that itsy bitsy triangle necklace! I need more dainty jewelry in my life. Partially because my statement necklaces are tearing my hooks off the wall.
