What I’m loving | I may not be able to have a glass of wine or a Ceasar salad, but I can eat ice cream at least a couple times a week. And it’s heavenly.
What we’ve been up to | Over the weekend, David and I went to Blowing Rock for one last weekend getaway before our little one arrives. We enjoyed relaxing and eating out. It was so perfect. The fall colors were gorgeous. Next time we go back we’ll have Baby Girl with us.
What I’m dreading | This whole no sleeping thing is kickin’ my booty. No lie.
What I’m working on | Remember how I mentioned all these fabulous showers we’ve been thrown? And so many people have blessed us with fabulous gifts but let me tell you… thank you notes are no joke! It’s taking me way longer to write them than anticipated. Plus, I hate to write the same thing in all of them so I try to mix it up and get creative…
What I’m excited about | Thinking about all the changes coming our way is fun. Life as we know it is about to change. Come on, Baby Girl!
What we’re watching | We saw Pitch Perfect 2 this weekend and while I enjoyed it, I thought they went away from some of the elements that made the first one so lovable. Anybody else with me?
What I’m listening to | I might be a little behind but Google Play music is where it’s at. Because they block Pandora at work but not Google Play. I’m literally in heaven and have it on all day.

What I’m doing this weekend | We’re having our maternity pictures done so I’ve been brainstorming what to wear and what props to bring. Any suggestions? Here are my favorites so far…
Tiny baby shoes are my favorite. And I really like the casual style of jeans and boots but I can’t find a top that I like.
What I’m looking forward to next month | Baby Girl getting here. It blows my mind that it will happen next month… well, fingers crossed.
Remember when we first announced it back in May? It feels like a lifetime ago.
What else is new | Her nursery is almost as complete as it can be so pictures should be coming soon. I just love how it turned out!
My favorite Thanksgiving recipe | Gram’s party potatoes and strawberry pretzel salad. And I can’t make either one – I’m pretty sure she puts some secret ingredient in both because mine don’t turn out the same even when I follow her recipe.
