Baked ravioli

Remember when I made toasted ravioli bites?  I had some ravioli left from that recipe so when I came across this pin, I knew it was the perfect way to enjoy ravioli again – this time in meal form.

This recipe is layered very similarly to lasagna and I made the sauce the way I would if I was making spaghetti.  An easy, delicious twist on a new {for us} Italian dish.

Prep time: 20 minutes; total time: 60 minutes

Ingredients

>>1lb ground beef
>>garlic salt, onion powder {or however you prefer to season your spaghetti meat sauce}
>>spaghetti sauce {I use Ragu or Classico}
>>1 bag of frozen ravioli
>>2 cups Italian blend shredded cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 400.  Spray a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray.

Brown and season ground beef.  Add sauce to ground beef.  Once beef is ready, layer: sauce, ravioli, meat sauce, Shredded cheese.  Repeat once, beginning with cheese.

Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.  Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10.

I served this with bread and it was enough for us to have two meals of leftovers.  Jackpot!

Now pour yourself a glass of red wine and enjoy the deliciousness.  And if you’re making this between now and November, pour two glasses and enjoy one for me.
