October Goals

But first, a quick check on my September goals

Have devotions every morning | check.  There were very few, if any mornings this got skipped.

Baby Girl’s room | I’ve been crafting every free chance I get {which is basically why I haven’t been blogging as much} but it’s not finished.  I also need to organize like crazy in there!  I’m hoping to get a lot done this weekend.

Do something fun for Labor Day | I have to go back and look.  Is it just me or was Labor Day forever ago?  We kicked the weekend off with supper club and then picked up our furniture!

Make a new recipe | Yes!  I made beef stew and I need to post the recipe because it’s so good!  Plus, it makes a lot so there’s leftovers… my favorite part!

Have devotions every morning | It just helps me to add it to the list every month.

Go on a weekend getaway with David | We’re hoping to head to the mountains toward the end of the month for one last hoorah before our little Sweetheart gets here.

Make a new recipe + blog September’s recipe | I usually rely on Pinterest for new recipe ideas and I need to post the beef stew I made last week.  It was seriously delicious.

Finish her nursery | If you would have told me back in July that the nursery wouldn’t be finished at this point, I would have told you that you’re crazy.  But with traveling every weekend in September, I just didn’t get things done as quickly as I had anticipated.  But it’s finally coming along and I like where it’s headed.

Maybe I should add that we need to select a name, too.  It’s getting down to crunch time!

Enjoy every day | At this point, it’s so easy to countdown to her due date but I’m really focusing on enjoying our last two months of just being us.  We’re both really excited for life as we know it to change drastically but I also don’t want to miss this season of life.
