Fashion {experiment} week | stripes + dots

This week has a theme: Fashion {experiment} week. If New York gets its own fashion week with designers, celebrities and runways… I’m creating my own. But instead of Kim Kardashian {and clan}, Versace and beautifully staged runways, we have the street in front of my house, only 1 photographer and some fun new fashion ideas I’ve been wanting to try.

Today’s look is mixed patterns.

Last week, I posted some ways I was inspired to mix patterns. This week, I actually experimented with it. Yes, we’ll probably look back in 2025 and laugh at this look but where would we be without the bell bottoms of the 70s, bright colors and big hair in the 80s, or the noisy wind pants of the 90s? So, I’ll happily jump in on a new trend!

  Oh girl, tell me about it!! I usually just do my house or right out in front of our house. I need to branch out a little more and find some fun spots. We have a cool area downtown that I’ve been wanting to try. But yes… so awkward sometimes. Thank goodness for supportive husbands who are along for the ride!
