Chipotle for dinner Friday night.  My love for chipotle might be a little too intense.

I’ve always been a sports fan.  Thanks to my dad and brother, basketball, football and baseball kinda dominated the TV at our house.  But the last year or two I’ve been into football way more than normal.  Peyton Manning is my guy in the NFL.  We watch him every Sunday.  And Tennessee is my college team.  Their record is terrible right now but they’re one of those teams that are one or two plays away from defeating several top ten teams.  Mom and Dad were driving through on Saturday… betcha can’t guess what we did.  Yep, ate chili and watched football.  {Sound familiar?}

Oh, except Mom.  She did this the whole time.

Basketball season officially started this week.  We had tryouts on Wednesday and Thursday and the first practice and team meeting will be today.  There’s just something about coaching that takes me back.  It’s SO. MUCH. FUN. to watch the girls improve and develop  a passion for the game.  And I absolutely love that David coaches with me.

I decorated my house for fall like 2 months ago.  But I never got around to getting new fall candles until this week. Ohhhhh, my gosh.  Why did I wait so long?  I burn this one all the time now.

  • Hello Claire!
I found your blog via The Lauren Elizabeth and I’m glad I did! First of all, I really like how you structured the post with the numbers. It looks really nice. And the whole post is just a great read. It only got better when I found out that you are writing about your love story! It’s so nice to hear about how it is in real life :)
    Greetings, Lisa-Marie

    • Hey Lisa-Marie! So you glad to have you here. Hope you’ll stick around! I can’t wait to check yours out to get to know you :)

      • Hei Claire! Thank you, it really is a pleasure to be here! Sometimes my depression gets the better of me and I get really bad at following up and sticking to things. But your blog seems very sticky to me 😉
Looking forward for you to check my blog and I really hope that you’ll like it :)

  • I looove Chipotle too! So good. Football is constantly on in my house too…I think I might be more into it than my hubby because I am playing fantasy for the first time this year! Haha. That’s exciting that basketball is starting!

    • Oh really??? I have some friends who play fantasy and I think I would be into all the stats and stuff if it affected my fantasy team. I love that you’re doing that.

  • I laughed out loud at what your mom did! That’s exactly what I do when football is on our TV–or actually, I read a book. Good luck with the start of basketball!!

    • Haha! The funniest part was when we would react to a big play she would look up and be like, “Awww, I missed it!”

  • I have a serious Chipotle problem.. I can’t stay away!

    • Oh my gosh, I’m glad to know there’s so many of y’all that love it too. We went for lunch a lot in the summer because we had some buy one get one free coupons and now we’re out of them. When David suggested Chipotle I got super excited. He laughed and told me to calm down.

  • mmmm chipotle is the BEST! xo jillian

    • I’m kinda obsessed with it.

  • Oh I love Chipotle. I get the burrito bowl and its just so good :)

    • I need to try the bowl but I’m one of those routine people, ya know? Once I like {or love} something, I’m afraid that if I switch it up, I won’t like the second thing as much. And I just can’t make myself risk the disappointment. I’m crazy, I know.

      • Well, then I’m the same type of crazy as you!
