Weekending: The Saint Patrick’s Day edition

Happy Monday!  Sometimes they’re a rough pill to swallow but the remainders of a fun-filled weekend plus exciting Monday night plans always make the morning a little more manageable.  Tonight is our basketball banquet.  Although I’m enjoying coming home at a normal time, I miss the girls… even after just a few weeks.  So tonight we get to celebrate a great season!  On to the weekend recap…

Friday was low key.  We haven’t had one of those in months so we stayed in, watched the ACC tournament and went to bed early.

Saturday I spent the day with Megan.  A few weeks ago she had asked me to come hang out for the afternoon/evening/night for the St. Patrick’s Day festivities in uptown Charlotte.  She had a free hotel stay that she would lose if she didn’t cash in… so cash in we did!

After hotel breakfast {Megan really likes waffles}, Sunday was filled with laundry, blogging and preparing for the week ahead.

  • What a fun weekend! I sadly didnt celebrate St Pattys Day this weekend but I might go out for a drink on Tuesday to celebrate! And I love waffles too, SO yummy!

  • Sounds like you had a pretty great weekend! My husband and I haven’t done anything special for St. Patty’s day for the past couple years. We normally just have a drink or two at home and relax. lol! We’re lame

    • That’s all I’ve done recently. Maybe 4 years ago we went out with a bunch of friends but nothing since then. I think lame is synonymous with adult, sometimes.

    • Oh girl, me too on a normal year. This was the first time in 4 years I’ve celebrated!

  • STL had all their St. Paddy’s Day celebrations over the weekend but I was too busy to attend. Maybe I’ll throw in some green tomorrow to celebrate on the actual day. Looks like you had a lot of fun!
