It may be out of season but…

 …that’s how I roll.

Back in November it seemed normal to write some thankful posts… you know, because Thanksgiving was right around the corner.  But today, it just makes sense to focus on all the things I appreciate in my life.  Where else are you going to get a Thankful Thursday post in February?

Today, I’m thankful for…

>>David who fixed dinner for me two nights in a row.  And spends every single free moment he has coaching girls basketball with me.  And there’s seriously no one else I can imagine doing this with.

>>That we’re over halfway through this week.

>>You.  Because you read my blog.  I have so much fun writing this and it means the world to me that you take the time to read.  I have such big dreams for where this could go and I wouldn’t have them if it wasn’t for people who read this every day.

>>Pinot grigio.  Just because it’s good.

>>Friends who stay in touch through email, snapchat or text.

>>People who inspire me with their passion and respect.  Especially when it’s one of my students.

>>Kaitlyn, who has a big project at the moment.  Because we always get so much closer when she’s in the middle of life-changing decisions.

>>The chance to become a part of this blogging community.  I learn so much every day by reading yours – everything from how to create a flower centerpiece to fashion trends to essential oils.  Thank you for sharing!

  • So important to remember the big and little things we’re thankful for each day!! Great post girl! xo, Biana – BlovedBoston

    • Yes it is! Some days I don’t do a great job remembering to be thankful but I have learned how important it is to have a thankful mindset.

  • I don’t think theres anything wrong wtih being thankful and expressing it any time of the year! And love the Pinot Grigio one haha! So much to be thankful for!

    • Haha, just trying to keep it real! I agree – I try to remember to be thankful every single day… a little easier some days than others.

  • I love that your husband helps you coach! So sweet!

    • Yeah, he’s pretty much the greatest ever. I think I’ll keep him.

  • Great list of things you are thankful for! I think it’s a great idea to remind yourself of things you are thankful for all year round.

    • I’m with ya! Some days I do a better job than others and Wednesday evening was just one of those times where I knew I needed to stop and be thankful.

Your man sounds awesome! It’s so nice to have someone who is supportive and caring in your life :) I’m glad you have that!

    • He really is! A life-saver, all day every day!

  • Thankful posts really make us realize what’s important, right? Great post, lady!

    • Yes they do. And it was exactly what I needed when I wrote it Wednesday night!

  • All great things to be thankful for… I especially liked that you’re thankful for wine – me too sister lol!!

    • Haha, gotta have wine to make it through!

  • Hey, it’s ALWAYS a good idea to be thankful, every day! Great post!! <3 – http://www.domesticgeekgirl.com

    • Thanks! It’s something I try to always be conscious of.

  • I’ll tell you, there are few things better than ice cold pinot grigio. I have these iced tumblers I keep in the freezer (it’s too early to be thinking this way)….

    • For real! And it’s never too early. I was at school eating dinner about 5:00 and I told David that I really need a glass of wine to go along with my meal. If only that wasn’t frowned upon…

  • You’re completely right, nowhere else in blogland am I going to find a Thankful post in February. This is great though! We should all make a regular habit of writing out what we’re thankful for. Especially wine!

    • Especially wine! Wine for the win. And yes, we really should!!

  • Being thankful never goes out of style. Thankfulness is like wine…perfect for every occasion! :)
