High five for Friday!

I love it when Friday rolls around because that means HELLO WEEKEND!  But first, here’s a look back at my favorite moments from this week.

We had supper club on Saturday night.  We ate homemade pizza, drank some wine and just hung out.  It’s always one of the highlights of my weekend when we have it.

Our Saturday night consisted of a big bowl of chili, a movie and our couch.   It was the perfect low-key night in.  We rarely have time to do that so it was perfect.  We watched The Fault in our Stars and I cried sobbed through the last 30 minutes of the movie.

I’m so into this fall weather.  Crisp mornings, boots & scarves, basketball season approaching… chili in the crockpot and football on the TV.  {I know this is meant to be positive… my favorite moments from the week… but how frustrating is Tennessee football right now?  They’re good but never good enough.  Ugh.}

David made me dinner on Wednesday.  He did something in the crockpot with chicken and pasta and deliciousness.  Comment if you want him to share his “secret” recipe with me and I’ll try to coax it out of him.

Tonight is homecoming at the high school I work at so this week has been spirit week.   I had so much fun dressing up this week.  Sorry the picture quality is terrible.

  • I refuse to watch the Fault in Our Stars. I know I will turn into a sobbing mess.

    • I refused to watch it in the theatre; but on my couch in my PJs with a box of tissues by my side? It was perfect.

  • I literally sobbed in the movie theater – to the point where my Mom asked if I was okay- when we went to see the Fault in our Stars lol tear jerker for sure!! How sweet that Dave made dinner too!!

    • I knew that’s how I’d be so I purposely waited until I could be at home to be a mess!
